Review : Drive is fine, but connector is cheap
The drive is exactly what I expected it to be, except that it has a flimsy connector tab. On the first drive I got, the tab practically disintegrated and fell off when I tried to clamp it down on the cable. They sent me a new one without any hassle, though, and the second one was fine (same flimsy connector, but this one didn't break). Since (hopefully) I connect the drive once and then don't have to touch it again, I don't consider this a big problem. I checked the HDSmartData after installation, and the drive looked good (and I could tell from this that the drive is new, as advertised). Also, the drive did not come with any of the foam padding or rubber bumpers, so be sure to scavenge those from your original drive to reuse if you order this drive.
